Marcel played a beautiful soft blues on his clarinet if you ever heard Charlie Parker playing clarinet in New York in the 50's (where Zanini lived from 1954 till 1958), it could have been this instrument. His son was there too (Marc-Édouard Nabe), a smart connoisseur of Steve's music who immortalized his unique mastering of the soprano saxophone in "Le soprano suprême" (reprinted in Findings).
